Abstract
We demonstrate a compact and efficient diode-end-pumped laser with output power of 30 W for 48 W
of incident pump power by use of two coated crystals to form a thermally stabilized flat–flat cavity. In -switched operation 25 W of average power at a pulse-repetition rate of 100 kHz and pulse energy at a pulse-repetition rate of 10 kHz were produced.
