Abstract
We designed a planar-waveguide quasi-phase-matched second-harmonic-generation device, which consists of a Y-cut periodically poled -doped core and claddings, that provided a green light with 30% conversion efficiency by using a sample at room temperature. The highest conversion efficiency of 49% at second-harmonic generation was attained by using an long device.
